International Conference “Maritime Security in the Black Sea– Changing Paradigms and New Frontiers”

The Varna Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) is organising International Conference “Maritime Security in the Black Sea– Changing Paradigms and New Frontiers”, which will be held on 24 April, 2012 in Melia Grand Hermitage Hotel, Golden Sands resort, Bulgaria. This year’s conference will explore the changing paradigms of maritime security, which are becoming more focused on economic and energy- related issues. Another thematic priority of the conference will be cross- and inter- governmental approaches to maritime security and regional cooperation. In this respect, emphasis will be given to modernisation plans and applied technologies on the way to the Navy of 2025.
